Regenia Ruth Cragen

Regenia Ruth Cragen, age 94, of Center, MO passed away at 12:40 am Monday, March 4, 2024, at Luther Manor in Hannibal, Mo.  

Graveside services will be held at Grand View Burial Park on March 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM and Phyllis Hart will officiate. 

Regenia was born on February 2, 1930, in Center, MO. Regenia was the daughter of Henry and Martha (Cowden) Briggs.

She was united in marriage to Rex E. Cragen on February 25, 1950. Briggs (Jan) Cragen, John (Vicki) Cragen and Barb Cragen (daughter in law) survive her in death.  

She was preceded in death by Rex Cragen (husband), Gale Cragen (son), Henry and Martha Briggs (mother and father), Champ and Beryl Cragen (father in law and mother in law), Dorothy and W.A. Calhoun (sister and brother in law) and Bill and Reva Cornelius (brother in law and sister in law). 

Professionally Regenia worked as a housewife and mother of 3 sons. 

Regenia was a member of Olivet Christian Church in Center, MO. 

Pallbearers: Sara Cragen (granddaughter), Julie Cragen (granddaughter in law), Cindy Mitchell (niece), Dawn Neuschafer (daughter of old friend), Wanda Sharp (cousin) and Brandee Janes or Angie Cowden.

Memorial contributions can be made to Community Loving Care Hospice or Luther Manor.
