Kimberly Dawn Lukow

Kimberly Dawn Lukow, age 58, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 3:30 pm Monday, April 15, 2024, at her home due to a tragic house fire.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Grand View Funeral Home & Burial Park. 

Kimberly was born on August 22, 1965, in Burbank, CA the daughter of Louis Shapiro and Sharon Johnson.

Survivors include her mother, Sharon Johnson of Hannibal, MO; son, Ryan Lukow of Hannibal, MO; daughter, Samantha Proske (Nicholas) of Quincy, IL; grandson, Michael Proske; sister, Claire Denise DeVault of Knoxville, TN; niece, Rachel Crabtree and extended family, Jonas and Linda Yoder and Justin and Michelle Miller and their families.

Mrs. Lukow was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Celeste Logan.

Kim graduated from high school and went to further her education receiving a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Kim worked at General Mills in the shell department up until the time of her death. 

Reading, watching horror films, riding horses, shooting guns and gardening are all things Kim enjoyed in her free time.  Kim's biggest love was her family.  She cherished every moment spent with her mother, children and grandson.  She will truly be missed by all whom loved her.

Kim was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a part of the Girlfriends Cafe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carol Tatman, Sarabeth Maddox Gorton, Irene Hurt, Mark Hurt, James Sims and Cole Peters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand View Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
