Wendy Lee Todd, age 45, of Palmyra, MO passed away at 7:10 am Friday, September 18, 26, at her home.
Visitation celebrating Wendy's life will be held at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday September 21, 2026, at the Grand View Funeral Home.
Wendy was born on February 27, 1981, in Hannibal, MO to Kevin and Shellia (Gauch) Todd.
She is survived by her Father, Kevin Todd; Sons, Rusty Ellis Jr, of Hannibal, MO, and Dallas Davis, of Palmyra, MO; Daughter, Savanna Ellis (Adam Holt) of Hannibal, MO; Brothers; Shaun Gauch of Hannibal, MO, Kevin Todd Jr, (Jackie Handy) of Hannibal, MO; and Aaron (Kristy) Fix of Hannibal, MO; Sisters; Misty Todd of Hannibal, MO, and Jeannie Todd (Charles Zumwalt) of Hannibal, MO. Grandchildren; Paislee Holt and Paxton Holt, of Hannibal, MO; Avery Hewitt who was just like her daughter, very close friend Molly Lake, and a whole herd of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Shellia Todd, Grandmother Odessa Gauch, Grandmother Frances Thayer, Grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Todd, Aunts Dorothy Brookes, and Bonnie Roberson; Uncles, Tommy Todd Jr. and Bucky Gauch.
Wendy was very proud of the fact that she received her GED later in life with the help of her daughter Savanna and viewed that as one of her great accomplishments.
Family and those who knew Wendy describe her as a fun loving, caring, and crazy as hell woman! She loved her Dr. Pepper and Red Bull. She was a hard worker and was dedicated to her ladies at the nursing home, who were just as dedicated to her. They wouldn't want anyone else but Wendy to care for them as they loved her dearly. Wendy played lots of board games and would spend hours playing with her son Dallas, and everyone knew that the only way he would win was to cheat, and she didn't mind one bit. The fact was that to Wendy her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, neighborhood kids, were all very important to her. She gave without any concern to herself, if there was a kid who needed love she was ready. She loved her family with the kind of selfless love that only a daughter, sister, and mother can give. She will be missed very much.
Memorial contributions may be made to her daughter Savanna in care of Grand View Funeral Home.
