Jack Britt, age 84, of New London, MO passed away at 9:30 am Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his home.

An indoor committal service will be held Friday September 4, 2026 at 10:00 am, at the Grand View Funeral Home, Rev. Jason Young will officiate. Jack will be laid to rest in the Grand View Burial Park.

Jack was born on April 24, 1942, in Hannibal, MO, to Orlie and Velma (Martin) Britt.

He was united in marriage to Lee Donovan on June 12, 1982 at First Christian Church in New London, MO.

He is survived by his wife, Lee, Son, Darrell Britt (Lauri) of New London, MO, Daughter, Karen McGee, and by his grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orlie and Velma, his Son, Eric Wilson, and Daughter, Kathy Jaster, and all seven of his siblings.

Jack was a simple man who loved his wife and children deeply. He didn't care much for recognition or to be noticed by others, but lived his life as an example of how to serve, protect, and care for people from a quiet and yet powerful persona. His life long service to his community in Law Enforcement has left a lasting legacy. He will be missed.
