Nana Utterback Obituary
Nana M. Utterback, 86, of Hunnewell, MO, died at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her home.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Steve Goughnour will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Nana was born on August 12, 1928, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Roy and Ruby Snider Bush. She married Vester Utterback on October 7, 1951 by Rev. Golden and he preceded her in death.
Her parents, two sisters, Nina Williams and Fern Anderson; one brother, Arthur Bush and one daughter, Patty Rife also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Utterback (Stephanie Kendrick) of Hunnewell and Mike (Reba) Utterback of Hunnewell; one daughter, Vicki (Jack) Roach of Hannibal; one sister, Ruth See of Whittier, CA; eight grandchildren, Erica (Chad) Hertlein, Jason (Stacy) Roach, Austin (Aleesha) Roach, Alan (Carrie) Utterback, Candace (Drew) Kassel, Shannon Rife, Wilson Rife and Brittany Utterback and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jason Roach, Austin Roach, Alan Utterback, Wilson Rife, Trever Hertlein and Tyler Thomure. Honorary pallbearers are Kurt Rife, Jack Roach, Gary Shuck, Gary Williams, Kenny Williams, Ken Salsman, Phillip Potterfield and Frank Desmond.
Nana loved spending time at the Monroe City Nutrition Center with friends, bowling, bingo and playing cards with family and friends. She also volunteered at the Monroe City VFW and she worked at Wilson's Laundry for over 15 years. Above all she cherished her time with grandchildren and family.
