Minter Jeremiah Cotton "Jay",43, of St. Louis, MO, formely of Hannibal, MO died at 7:59 a.m. on June 21, 2020.
A Funeral service will be held July 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO, with Patrick Minter officiating
Minter was born on Tuesday, July 6, 1976, in Hannibal, MO, the son of William Henderson and Verian Cotton. He married Jessica Epperley in September 9, 2013 and she survives.
He is also survived by his mother Verian Cotton; two sons, Marceil and Jeremiah Cotton; three daughters, Ja~ Myrah Cotton, Carina Epperley Cotton, Lea~yanna Cotton and ; five brothers, William (Lee) Cotton, Drew Henderson, Paul Henderson, Bruce Henderson and Matthew Henderson; four sisters, Conswayda Merritt, Erin Henderson, Deana Henderson, and Kelly Henderson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Minter was preceded in death by his father William Henderson; his grandparents, Jeremiah and Lola Richardson; and two nephews, Rickey Geeter Jr. and Minor Cotton.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jaylen Cotton, Jason Smith, Damon Rudd, Ronnie Clay, Geno King, Keith Kelley and Mark Fitzpatrick.
Minter was a member of Scotts Chapel Church of Hannibal. He loved sports, especially track, in which he participated while in high school, and he was an Oakland Raiders fan. Minter will be best known for his smile and will truly missed by his family and friends.
