Dianna Lynn Wheeler

Dianna Lynn Wheeler, age 70, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 1:43 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at her son's home surrounded by her family.

Graveside services and burial will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2021, in the Grand View Burial Park. Dianna's grandson Wesley Wheeler will officiate.

The family is being served by the Grand View Funeral Home of Hannibal.

Dianna was born on November 7, 1950, in  Hannibal, MO the daughter of Harold and Betty (Buckman) Calhoun.

Survivors include her children, Darrell Wheeler and wife Julie of New London, MO and Melissa Haley and husband Michael of Perry, MO; brother, Johnny Calhoun; sisters, Sandy Novel (Ray), Betty Whittaker and Beverly Shobe; grandchildren, Wesley Wheeler (Jordyn) and Dalton Wheeler; great grandchildren, Tyson, Cayson, Liam, Max and Oliver; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her companion, Eugene Akers, sister, Shirley and her loving adorable granddaughter, Jamie-Lynn Haley.

Dianna had previously worked at General Mills for over twenty years before retirement.

In her free time, Dianna enjoyed playing slot machines at local casino's and fishing when weather allowed her to.  Her biggest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Family gatherings were also special to her and she was always requested to bring her famous Texas Sheetcake.

Dianna was a Catholic by faith.
