Odetha D. Guessford, 84, of Hannibal, MO, died at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at her home.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Funeral service will be Friday, June 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Milton Baumgardner officiating and burial will follow at Grand View Burial Park.

Odetha was born on November 22, 1933, in Paris, MO, the daughter of Edgar and Ruby Stephens Dry. She married William Brownell and then later married Eugene Guessford on July 26, 1986. Both preceded her in death.

Her parents, a brother, Wayne Dry; a grandchild, George Caldwell Jr; and a great grandchild, Kenslie Mae Tompkins, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Alan (Tammy) Brownell and Robert (Cindy) Brownell; three daughters, Brenda Caldwell, Debbie (Jack) Lamberson and Judy (Dickie) Askew; a sister, Jean Busby Null; 19 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.

Odetha owned and operated the Bridge Café and then Dee's Café in Hannibal for over 25 years. She liked playing cards and working on puzzles and she enjoyed going to the Hannibal Nutrition Center for lunch. She loved spending time with her grandchildren

Pallbearers are Travis Williams, Robert Brownell Jr, Mathew Weis, Bobby Walden, Frank White and Phillip Bates.
