James Andrew Rickey, 62, of Palmyra, MO, died at 4:47 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at his home in Palmyra, MO.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Michael Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
James was born on January 3, 1954, in Hannibal, MO, the son of Chester and Gracey Bates Rickey. He married Kathy Snyder in 1977 and she preceded him in death. His parents also preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters, Jamie (Neil) Lewton and Betty Jean Branch; his significant other, Jacklyn Charlton; three stepsons, Franklin Charlton, Billy Charlton and Clifford Charlton; twostep daughters, Angela (Donald) Walls and Debbie (Ronnie) Taylor; 18 grandchildren, Koren, Keaton, Damian, Seth, Kylie, Fabian, Triston, Jordon, Noah, Hadley, Gabia, Carter, Sophia, Pam, Cory, Cody, Ashley and Nathan, and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Donald Martin, Donnie Rickey, Danny Sawyer, Neil Lewton and Donald Walls.
Honorary pallbearers are Doc Rickey, Clifford Charlton, Bobby Charlton, Raymond Charlton and Basil Failor Sr.
James loved to hunt and liked watching John Wayne movies. James will be sadly missed by family and friends.
