Hilda E. Benn, 96, of Hannibal, MO, died at 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at the Willow Care Center, in Hannibal, MO.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016, from 12 to 1 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2016, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Matthew Ver Meer will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Hilda was born on Friday, May 28, 1920, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Nathan and Elizabeth Mitchell Coose. She married Bobby Benn on October 16, 1948, and he preceded her in death on September 3, 1989.
Her parents, and a daughter, Candy Beth Benn also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son; Mike (Pat) Benn of Hannibal, MO; and a daughter, Lisa (Harry ) Morgan of Hannibal, MO.
Hilda spent most of her childhood in Silex, MO. Her passion was being a long time member of the Hannibal Hospital Auxiliary and she attended the First Presbyterian Church of Hannibal.
