Debra S McNeal, age 71, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 7:28 pm Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at home surrounded by her beloved family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 24, 2023 at Grand View Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park.

A visitation celebrating Debra's life will be held at 10:00 am until time of service Monday July 24, 2023 at the Grand View Funeral Home.

Debra was born on November 25, 1951, in Ft Riley, Kansas the daughter of Manford and Gladys (Doss) Hodges.

She is survived by two Brothers, Lynn Hodges (Tammie) of New London, MO, James Hodges of MA; Son, Eric McNeal of Hannibal, MO; Five Sisters, Robin Hodges of Hannibal, MO, Penny Caswell (Sean McCauslin) of Hannibal, MO, Nadine Barbee (Kurt Willing) of Hannibal, MO, Tracy Hodges of Hannibal, MO, Cyndee Mastin of New London, MO; Numerous nieces and nephews, and very special friends including; Faye Bleigh, Jill Tate, and Darla Bates.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne McNeal, and her parents Manford and Gladys Hodges, and one brother, Marty Hodges.

Debra was a Certified Nursing assistant and loved what she did, and the people she cared for.

Debbie, as she was affectionately known by all, loved her cat Starla, and her dogs Rex and Buddie. She loved going to the casino, and traveling with her husband Wayne. Debbie had a robust personality and would love to give you a hard time while making you laugh! She could cut you down to size and make you feel special all at the same time. Her amazing sense of humor and her love for people made her many hours volunteering at Beth Haven a blessing for all she came into contact with. Most of all Debbie loved her family and counted all her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She will be greatly missed.
