Carolyn May Shaw

Carolyn May Shaw, age 76, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 9:54 am Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Westview Nursing Home in Center, MO.

The family will be conducting a private service in honor of Carolyn at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Grand View Funeral Home and Burial Park in Hannibal.

Carolyn was born on January 29, 1945, in Eugene, Oregon the daughter of Franklin and Eva Hulett.

She is survived by two Daughters, Leslie Shaw, and Kelly Shaw; One Sister, Ann Conrad; Three Granddaughters, Cindy Waters of MO, Roberta Shaw of MO, and Miya Kauffold of MO; Two Great-grandsons, Gavin Behnen of IL, and William Waters of WA; and Two Great-granddaughters, Graclyn Shaw of MO, and Gemma Yates of MO.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Brother, Kenneth Hulett, and One Granddaughter, Rebecca Shaw.

Carolyn graduated from high school in Tigard, OR. She went on to be a wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired as a professional grandmother working for the Grandparent program in the school district. Giving of herself to young kids, many of whom wouldn't have had someone to call grandma.

Carolyn was a quiet person who enjoyed time to herself watching daytime soap opera's and her favorite game show, The Price is Right.  Occasionally she would venture out and go to Walmart where she enjoyed to shop and she loved going out to eat at Wendy's to enjoy her favorite treat, a "Frosty"!  Carolyn's friends describe her as a "Sweet lady", and she will be greatly missed.
