Bret Lee Brooks

Bret L Brooks, age 59, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 1:03 pm Saturday, June 8, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

A special service celebrating his life will be held on his birthday. Place and time to be announced later.

Bret was born on August 18, 1964, in Pittsfield, Illinois the son of Gilbert and Marian (Phillips) Brooks.

Survivors include his longtime significant other, Pam Wallace of Hannibal, MO; two Sons, Bret Lee Brooks II, Brian Brooks, Daughter, Canasada Wallace; Four Step sons, Jonathan Wallace, William Wallace (Charlotte), Michael Whitlock (Rachel), James Dowell; Brother, Billy Joe Brooks (Cathy) of Clarksville, TN; Sister, Khristi Faith Guthrie (Mike) of Kingsville, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Daughter, Brittany Brooks; Brother, Brian Todd Brooks and Grandparents, James (Marian) Phillips, Robert (Bessie) Brooks.

Bret graduated from Wyandotte high school in Kansas City, KS.

Professionally Bret worked at Oscar Myer in Beardstown, drove concrete truck and worked at General Mills.

Bret was a member of  Lone Wolf Bike Club & Practical Tactical.

Bret loved his family, and loved fishing with them. he loved to ride his motorcycle, and he loved animals. He was an amazing dad, friend, and shared his zest for life with everyone who knew him.
