Marilyn Genthon Obituary
Marilyn Sue Genthon, 79, of Hannibal, MO, died at 1:14 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Ronn Pashia will officiate. Burial will follow at the East Lawn Cemetery in Mexico, MO.
Sue was born on Friday, February 14, 1936, in Keytesville, MO, the daughter of Benjamin Ray and Rilda Florence Phelps Collet. She married Norman Edward Genthon in 1958 and he preceded her in death.
Her parents, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Michael (Cathy) Genthon of St. Louis, MO; two daughters, Michele (Denny) Wertheimer of Venice, FL and Lisa (Joseph) Bean of Hannibal, MO; seven grandchildren, Evan Genthon, Nate Genthon, Sarah Bean, Hannah Bean, Elana Austin, Josh Wertheimer and Brian Wertheimer; and five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
