Donald Stolberg Obituary
Donald W. Stolberg, 83, of Hannibal, MO, died at 11:30 p.m. on December 1, 2017, at his home.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Bob Seaman officiating.
Donald was born on July 15, 1934, in Hannibal, MO, the son of Alonzo and Katie Gott Stolberg. He married Rosalie Powell on June 5, 1954, and she preceded him in death on July 27, 2007. He later married Betty Reynolds on May 31, 2008, and she survives.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Rosalie Stolberg; a daughter, Janice Ann West; and two sisters, Virginia Morris and Dorothy Heckert.
He is survived by a son; Robie (Peggy) Stolberg; a step-daughter, Janet (Joe) Worrell; three step-sons, Larry (Jana) Garner, Wayne (Susan) Garner and Randy Garner; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren; and four step great great grandchildren.
Donald retired from American Cyanamid Company, where he had worked for 28 years. He was a member of the Park United Methodist Church in Hannibal, a former member the HRH Auxiliary and drove the shuttle bus for the hospital. Don was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed making jewelry, stained glass and stepping stones.
