Arbie Dietle Obituary
Arbie Ann Dietle, 84, of Hannibal, MO, died at 6:38 p.m. on February 26, 2018, at the Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Funeral services will be March 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Barker officiating.
Ann was born in Hannibal to Nathaniel W. and Helen Rodgers Reading on October 22, 1933. She married Roy Dietle on November 14, 1957, and he survives.
Her parents; two brothers, Nathaniel W. Reading Jr, known as "Sonny", and George Reading; and one niece, Sandy Giltner, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Ann Lemon of Keytesville, MO; four grandchildren, Angela (Dereck) Young of Esberry, MO, Andrea Lemon of Monroe City, MO, William Lemon of Madison, MO, and James Matthew Lemon, who lived with her; three great grandchildren, Claire and Emily Young of Elsberry, MO, and Stetson Lemon of Madison, MO; and several nieces and nephews, including Rhonda Hall of Wisconsin, who was very close to her.
Ann was employed by Griffins Flowers, then went to work at the Hannibal Regional Hospital, from which she retired several years ago, working in Medical Records. She worked part time at Swiss Colony up until last year.
Ann enjoyed her grandchildren and gardening. She loved playing with the grand kids and also canning garden produce.
