Lavon Lehenbauer Obituary
Lavon Roberta Lehenbauer, 87, of Hannibal, MO, died at 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the St. Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.at Grand View Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Chuck Todd will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Lavon was born on April 24, 1927, in Sturgeon, MO, the daughter of Harmon Ida and J. Griggs Meeks. She married Franklin Lehenbauer who preceded her in death.
Her parents, two brothers, two sisters and a step son, Danny Lehenbauer also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Kenny (Beverly) Braxdale of Independence, MO; one brother, Estel (Dorothy) Meeks of Mexico, MO; two sisters, Lillian Hamilton of Mexico, MO and Ethlyn Whittaker of Dana Point, CA; three grandchildren, Curtis (Donna) Braxdale, Kymberly (Scott) Edwards and Michael Braxdale; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Lavon was especially grateful to her church family at Grace Covenant and Frank's nieces and nephews, Jesse and Flona Ogle, Jesse D Ogle, his wife Ranae, and their children for all their care and assistance.
Pallbearers are Jesse D. Ogle, Andrew Ogle, Jamie Griffith, Marvin Golian, Kevin Meeks and Danny Wayne Meeks. Honorary Pallbearers are Jesse Ogle and Curtis Braxdale
