Dorothy Bushmeyer Obituary
Dorothy M. Bushmeyer, 100, of Hannibal, MO, died at 5:03 p.m. on May 17, 2018, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Milton Baumgardner officiating.
Dorothy was born on January 10, 1918, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Homer and Helen Silver Pennington. She married Alan Bushmeyer in March of 1959, and he survives.
Her parents and a daughter Jane Poage preceded her in death.
She is survived by many nephews, nieces and their families.
Dorothy enjoyed animals, especially her cats and dogs. She was loved by her extended family, and she treated them as her own children. She owned and operated several rental properties in Hannibal.
Pallbearers are Steven Bushmeyer, Rodney Bushmeyer, Kristopher Bushmeyer, Bryce Bushmeyer, Gary Bushmeyer and Ronald McAdams.
