Aiola Lamberson Obituary

Viola Carlene Lamberson, 82, of Hannibal, MO, died at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016, at the Hannibal Regional Hospital, in Hannibal, MO.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Wes Tischer will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Carlene was born on August 31, 1933, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of George Carl and Margaret Chappell Sigler. She married George R. Lamberson on April 16, 1953, and he preceded her in death.

Her parents; three brothers, Carl Sigler, Edward Sigler and Teddy Jack Sigler; a sister, Evelyn Lee; a great grandson and a great great granddaughter also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons; Samuel Edward Lamberson and Marion (Nancy) Lamberson; two daughters, Nellie (Bill) Cummings and Sharon Wilkerson; a sister in law, Kay Sigler; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers are Nathan Lamberson, Jared Johnson, Butch Lamberson, James Griffith, Joe Johnson and Jeff Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are Gene Breedlove, Randall Meyers, Robert Lamberson, Paul Maddox and all nephews and nieces.

Carlene attended the Riverside Nazarene Church. She was a member of the Burlington Railroad Veterans Association and meet regularly with of the Hannibal High class of 51.

Memorials may be sent to The Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
